Use transmit sUserID and transmit sPassword to send them to the remote site. You will probably also need to send a transmit "^M" after those commands (^M is the Enter key) so that the remote system will process the userid or password you just sent.
yeh thats what we were trying but it wasnt working for some reason.
do u have to use the default directory?
cause were using our own differently named direcotory
thats where were entering the login and password details.
do u have any examples of how to use fetch and transmit because when were importing it the value seems blank ?
Are these values from the Connection Directory? If so, you'll need to either dial the entry or use set dial entry access <class <name>, where class is the kind of connection being made (data, telnet, etc.) and <name> is the name of entry, so that ASPECT knows what entry to reference. Otherwise these values will be undefined and you'll get a null string.
