I have Contivities and I was told by Nortel support that you can mutlinet with 6.0 code, but I have not been able to get it to work.
Multinetting is setting up two separate ethernet subnets off of the fastethernet interface of the contivity. Prior to 6.0 code you could only have one subnet. I am able to create the second, third, etc. subnet up just fine and even create on the tunnel the local and remote networks to match, but when I give a pc hanging off of that fastethernet interface an address corresponding to the two subnets, the pc only works on the original one.
For instance, let's say I have subnet 192.168.1.0/24 and I give my pc 192.168.1.2 as an address. I can access everything just fine across the tunnel. But if I add a second subnet of 192.168.2.0/24 and try using one of those on my pc, I get nowhere.

I am missing something. Nortel has no answer. They say I have done everything to make it work, yet it doesn't. And this is the biggest seller on 6.0 code. I cannot find any docs that spell out step-by-step what you need to do.

Anyone attempt this yet? I realize it is very new since 6.0 code just came out a week ago, but if anyone gets it to work down the road, please come back here and tell us how. I sure will if I figure it out.

Thanks ahead of time.
