How do you monitor text logfiles from other programs

Hi all,

I am new to MOM 2005 - I'm testing out the demo and so far I like what I see.

Our telephone sytem creates logfiles on one of our computers which I would like to monitor.

At the moment it is set to create files daily(this can be changed to filesize, etc. also).

What are the steps involved in grabbing data from a text log file and monitoring it in MOM?

Right now I think I have everything working but nothing appears in the Console so something is amiss.
