Novell 4.11 server w/Pervasive SQL 2000i and fileserving One application.

I thought NDIR would do it, but I don't see how.

I want to see exactly what files are "Open" or maybe "Locked" on our 4.11 fileserver (XP workstations) at a particular time. I didn't see a filter choice for NDIR to list just the files currently in use ("Open" I think).

I'm trying to isolate which files get opened up when we run a program that is giving us problems. I think it's a corrupt application database file. There are many database (.dat) files with this particular application we use.

Is there a way to list or see the "open" (.dat) files on the server when we are running the application at a workstation?

Our application does provide a "file fix" tool, if I only knew which files to concentrate on.

Thanks in advance for your help.

On NetWare 4.11, there's really not an easy way to do this.. Maybe there are some 3rd party tools..

You can look at each user connection in Monitor and see what files the particular user has open, but it's pretty cumbersome. Monitor - Connections -- Select user to view files open.
