How do you identify currency in a standard query?

I am a novice in Access, and am trying to run a query on a currency field to look for entries which are £0.00. But whatever I try comes back data mismatch. Is there a symbol I should be using like the # symbol either side of a date.

You should be able to enter simply a number. Currency amounts are numbers. They are set to display with a particular format.
