Hi,

I am trying to configure a VPN phone and have created the 46vpnsetting.txt but can't seem to get the file into the phone through tftp. I changed the phone to group 876 like it said to but all it pulls from TFTP is the 4600setting.txt file and it only looks for the 4600upgrade.scr file. Could someone please help me?

Thanks,

Very Stressed

Do you have the VPN firmware already? Download the VPN firmware from the support.avaya.com then upload the file using a tftp server. One trick is that you need to change the filename of 46vpnsettings.txt to 46xxsettings.txt. Another is you need to change the 46vpnupgrade.scr to 46xxupgrade.scr. Then edit the 46xxupgrade.scr using a notepad scroll down and change GET 46vpnsetting.txt to 46xxsettings.txt. After this your ready to upload the file to the phone.
