Hi

I have HP Systems Insight Manager C.04.02.00.00

I have managed to get all the servers to show up with their name in the table BUT cant get the 'system type' to show up as 'server'

any help would be greatly appreciated....!! - as i need to get this up and running properly as soon as possible...

thanks..

Try to run the task SNMP status polling and make sure your server is included inside the group.

You will need to make sure that all systems have the proper SNMP settings in order be be read by the SIM server. Also, for servers running Server 2003, you will need to set the allow access from, including the IP address of the SIM server.
