How do you get rid of the white background of a jpg.

Hi captmarvel,

depending on how detailed the image in the bitmap is, it could be quite simple.

1. all you would need to do is crop the image out of the white background (could give you better instruction if I knew what version of Corel you had) a lower version will take a different aproach to doing the crop. This involves using the lens tool. While a recent version of Corel will allow you to freehand an outline around the image to be cropped. You could even use the eraser tool to get rid of the white space. As you csn see there are avariety of ways to get the job done. If you can provide more detail about the image and the final use and your version of Corel, I may be able to be of more assistance.
