Recently upgraded from Illustrator 8 to 11 and for the life of me cannot figure out how to get text to flow inside the bottom of a circle upside right. In Illus 8 all you had to do was double click the cursor. Any clues?

imnotcourtney:

There are three lines perpendicular to the circle, that are visible after you switch to a selection tool. There's the left bound of the text, the right bound of the text, and the center point. Grab the centerpoint one (it has no little white box next to it) and drag it over the circle to the inside, that should do it.

After typing the text, put your direct selection pointer on the cursor line and drag it around the circle, it takes a little practice to get it where you want it. Then alter your baseline shift accordingly.
