I got burned when our CEO tried to join a conference call on a toll free number starting 1+855 that would not go through. NANP says it was activated in 10/2010. I had a similar experience a few years ago in a Chicago suburb when they changed to 10 digit dialing. I was wondering how you all keep aware of these kinds of changes.

BTW, the 18 entry in the ARS table did not work because it directs calls to a dedicated long distance T1 that does not accept toll free calls.

Thanks guys, I have used that site. That is how I confirmed the 855 is active. I had not seen that report. I noticed it had old NPAs on each row. Does that mean they are all changes or could they be overlays too. Would that report show toll free NPAs being activated? 822, 833, and 844 are still reserved but not active. The ARS tables handle most changes but not the toll free and changes to 10 digit dialing.

I guess I can search that site for some kind of notification process of pending changes
