Here's a small problem for you all.
My friend has a computer at work That has some shortcuts on the start menu and under the programs menu that he really wants to get rid of. He has tried to uninstall the programs associated with these shortcuts through the add\remove in control panel but do not see the programs there. I'm all out of ideas.

Thank you.
Right click on toolbar --> Properties --> Advanced Tab --> Remove. Select the ones to remove.

That should do it. Hope this helps.

The way that I remove shortcuts is to open up explorer and navigate to winnt/profiles/ whoever needs the cleaning

Once in their personal directory goto the start menu and clean out whatever is needed. If it is not there, make sure that you are in the right directory, then check the allusers directory.

fenris
fenris@hotmail.com
