I have just finsihed going through my users mailboxes and found that one of them has a COS of 15. Five users are class 13 the rest of us are class 1.

1) Where and how exactly do I find out what the values are for each COS that is setup?

2) Can I change the COS settings to better reflect what our environment requires? How?

Thanks in advance everyone.

Provide us with some more information on the VM system in use and how you are accessing the information.

Sorry, totally missed it.

It's an ICS 6.1 system running the latest version of the software (unfortunately I don't know it offhand). We had to upgrade the VM and system software in order to install a Cinphony ACD system last year.

How can I tell from a set what software versions are actually running on the system?

Is the VM device the Cinphony, or is it a Nortel product (NAM or CallPilot)?

The ICS family does not have built in voice mail (it has, however built in AA).

Now there is something that makes me wonder. I know the Cinphony uses the VM system heavily.

I have found the VM version is "NVM 4.0.04C". The people that installed the Cinphony took out our old VM add on box and replaced it with a new one. Looked the same but had more software installed.

I think I've found my answer though. It turns out we have software (NVM Manager version 4.0). With this I can check usage and edit COS values.

I found a scary statistic though. We only have 7 minutes of message time remaining. Most mailboxes have only a few minutes of messages in them. Is it possible to purge old messages? Or does that function even exist?

Laertes,

I do not know anything about the NAM, so one of the other guys here will need to step in...
