hey guys,

just wondering how to down grade from 4.1 to 3.2

do you have to do it through the commport using hyperterminal?

thanks!

Just the normale way
But sometimes i did go wrong with me and i had to use the DTE to get it working again so don't do it remotely and give yourself enough time
I had this a few times with a small office !!!
But it could be that i did it wrong

Just to save any confusion, by the normal way he means load the version of manager you want on a pc, open manager then click Advanced, Uprgrade and it will show current and available version the available being the lower version, is a bit back to front but it works!!

how to down grade - put a panasonic/siemans/nec in

Downgrade; Lower it 10" in your 19" Patch rack.

Another seriouse answer is to do it with DTE

BE sure you have a lan connection with a static ipadres in the range of the ipoffice
You are not going to make it default with this way

open hyperterminal and type AT
then type at-debug
type upgrade

It will do an AT-X only and request for the bins you have selected in your working directory
I think this is the way as an offline upgrade works

you can download it for a better look, just click on it and click free and enter the 5 digit code.

Which is also my company logo.

phneguy,

Any reasons for wanting to downgrade?
I have been running 4.1(9) SOE since GA was released, and on 406v2 since last Week, so far so good!

Except 4424LDs do NOT work at all anymore!

If you do not like 4.1(9), 4.0(14) is very stable, plus you will save $$$ on SIP trunks!

DO NOT use the DTE port unless ALL other options have failed & you can no longer comunicate withthe system.
