Does anyone know of a place that explains how to do a menu like the vertical navigation menu at:
I love the custom shape and the top portion that has a color to it but the links are in still on a white background.

Also, do you know if this is possible to do in Fireworks by chance?

Thanks for helping out a DW "newbie" Regards,

Try taking a look at they have a section there dedicated to Menus and Navigation, lots of examples and most of the menus are simple copy and paste code with a few minor modifications.

yes you could do it in fireworks it just uses hide and show layers with an image on the top of each layer. sigh

Do you know of any tutorials that would explain how to do it in Fireworks?

I'm guessing the image is the heading? And do you just somehow say on click or mouseover show layer-4 or layer-3 and such?

yup...youwould use the show hide layers behaviors in DW and use it with onmoseover sigh

Thanks DeeCee

Do you know of any sites or books that would show me step by step how to do the show/hide layer? I'm not grasping it for some reason. I know it's probably an easy concept, it's just not sinking in right now.
