I'm fairly new to Photoshop CS2 and I've seen some background images I would like to use to create some photo collages. I also use Elements 4.0. The images I am really interested in are on the bottom row on the page I am listing below. They are the ones with the wavy effect applied to them. I tried to tile one but it doesn't look the way I want it to. I don't want a pattern of the thumbnail. I want to create a file about 1800x1800 px so that I can use it for at least a 16"x20" print. So, does anyone know how to create this type of image. I appreciate any help forthcoming. Thanks....

If I understand you correctly, you do not want the image to look like the background of this page:

You want to blow the tile image up to 1800 x 1800? If this is correct, you're going to need specialized software such as Genuine Fractals, which is a plug-in for Photoshop. It allows you to take a smaller image and blow it up to a larger size without losing much quality. But, you are still restricted in the size to which you can blow things up without losing quality. Even with the software you may only get it blown up to 800% or so before the edges start looking crispy. 1800 x 1800 would probably be a stretch. Here's a link to Genuine Fractals:
