How do you close a form when another form pops up???

The problem is that I have a list box , in this I select some products and then move them to the 2nd form but how do i close the first form or make it hide or unload it.I tried to use DoCmd but it does not work.

Is it becase I am tranferring data and that is why it is giving me an error...Any suggestions will be helpful,

Did you refer explicitly to the form???

DoCmd.Close acForm, "formname"

If that does not work try opening the First form with a Macro. So the focus is on the macro after the form closes.
