I'm copying files from one Solaris box to another, how do I check the throughput I'm getting ?

I've used ndd to confirm both are set to 100 full, but how do I check the actual throughput ?

Actually I think it's called NPtcp.

You can also try the spray utility.

It is called nttcp and was compiled for Solaris, it is originally for SGI systems I believe.

Okay, apologies; there is another utility called NPtcp which does a similar job and is excellent for benchmarking network throughput.
