When you boot your Win9x machine, that annoying microsoft logo.sys hides all the lines that are being executed. I know that you can press the escape key and temporarily get rid of the logo.

But how can you change the gif to a another logo - for instance our company's logo?

Check through the "hidden" and "system" files in the c:, the c:\windows\command, and the c:\windows\system directories, if the logo is stored as a graphics file instead of being integrated into an executable file, that's where you'll find it.
You can remove the logo from the load by editing the ms.sys file and adding the line Logo=0 to it.
You can change the logo quite easily by replacing the logo.sys file in your C:\. The new file must be a bitmap that is 320 width x 400 height in pixels. Save the file as a bitmap and call it logo.sys then move it to the C:\.
Thats it.
