Dear Mac people, we have a network here that runs two windows NT servers, Microsoft Exchange, 35 client PC's, and about 15 Apple Macs. up till now I have tried my best to stay away from macs, as I am only 6 months into my computer life.
I am trying to swap two microsoft exchange account both macs, but the place I would usually go to on a PC to change it is locked, (greyed out), and even if I go in as an administrator, I cannot change it.
Tools - Services - microsoft exchange properties.
I have swapped the mailboxes to the user accounts down on the server, but on the mac, it seems to have kept the mailbox to the mac, and just swapped the user account.
Any ideas please, I do not want to sink to the level of physically moving the macs to different desks just to do this.
I realise that this is going to be confusing, i.e. mailbox's and accounts definitions. so this is how I see it:
A user account is computer specific, like a log on (presuming that you always sit at the same desk. Non roaming)
A mailbox is where emails come in and out, and gets associated with a user account.
I hope I have been clear enough for a responce.
Kind regards
Rob
