It's been awhile since I have programmed a Norstar Flash voicemail system. This unit is a version 1.9 Flash 4 port on a 8X24 KSU running 5.1. The voicemail box has outbound transfer set to Pool. I want to change it to None. Is this possible without outing the mailbox and recreating it?

Thanks

Funny you want that at a time like this when most clients are asking for it.

If you are doing toll fraud lock down then change the mailbox to COS 5, this will disable the ability for Outbound Notification in the users mailbox so when they press 6 it will say "Not Allowed".
You can always switch it to use a Pool or Line that does not exist too.

Thanks curlycord,

I did set the pool that doesn't exist. I will try COS 5 as well. Your right, I was trying to lock it down in case there was toll fraud. I thought there was maybe a way to set it back to none.

Thanks again

In the event they (or other sites) do need the off prem because of our situation then just make sure their passwords are good, on the flash I am not sure if length is up to 6 or 8 digits for password, 8 on CP I know.
Create a restriction filter denying *720 and apply it to lines, not sets (vmail) - the 0 will stop calls being forwarded oversea's

You can also just restrict *72 but add overrides such as *72XXX-XXX-XXXX (the clients mobile #) in case they end up needing to forward the main line offiste.
