Been a while since I've done this. We have a new service desk phone number in place here and it's an external 800
number. We have an NCOS on a lot of our shop floor phones restricted to internal/911 dialing only. How do you or is it
not possible to add in this new phone # to this NCOS level to allow it?

Thanks,

Todd

NCOS set against phone
LD 87 NCTL ties NCOS to FRL
LD 16 in RDB ties FRL to FCR
LD 49 FCR controls numbers

usually find it just maps straight through so NCOS 6 is FRL 6 is FCR 6 for example. So you can just alter the FCR in LD 49 to allow your number

When I'm in LD 49, do you know what line will let me add in this #?

I have read the original post 3 times and I still cant figure out what you are asking?

So if you follow the above and mapping was straight through and for example ncos 6

LD 49
Req chg
Type fcr
Cust 0
Not sure on the mnemonic but the fcr number 6
Step down to alow and enter the number

on a switch now so can give the prompts

REQ chg
TYPE fcr
CUST 0
CRNO 6
DENY
ALOW <-- Type the number that you want to be allowed down your trunk

@bignose21, thanks. I will test this today.

@KCFLHRC -- just want to allow my NCOS 0 (which is only allowing internal extensions and 911 calls) to be able to call my company's new service desk phone #.

You can do this with a system speed call number - If I remember correctly, it will override and BARS/NARS FRL restrictions. You would just need to set it up and post the SSC Code by the phones. It will save you time and headaches in the long run...look in the features and services guide for more info.

Good Luck

Didn't think of that, I'll keep it as an option also. Thanks

Now that I understand what you are asking for here is an example of one. This table is Denying everything except what is listed.

Sorry for the delay in this. Got pushed into some other areas at work and then yesterday one of our hard drives in one of our CPPM cards died
and required a restore. That was great for a Monday.
