i have a customer that want to go from key mode to hybrid mode because they now want to get smaller phones and put there lines in hunt groups on a partner II 4.0

There's a small screw on the PII CPU that needs to be turned 90 degrees, that changes it to hybrid mode. It's located near the bottom of the module and is accessed with the plastic housing intact from the outside by sticking a small screwdriver in the hole and turning. Make darn sure you don't force it the wrong way or past its stop point! Power back up, and it's in hybrid mode.

As 392 posted, be careful with the screw, I have seen many people mess up.

Hi crabhoe,
Be aware that this may affect line assignments and permissions on all extentions except ext 10. All other extensions will be put in pool mode. All lines will be assigned to pool 880 as well.
Use pool/line assignment #207 to set up your lines/pools and line access mode (#313) to determine which phones are in key mode. In other words, make sure you know the line programming before you "throw the switch".
