I'm sure I made apost about this last night, but it seems to have disappeared mysteriously.

Anyway, I want to know whether it is possible to apply "round corners" (filter>>stylize>>round corners) to only one or a few select points on an object.

Everytime I've tried to do this by selecting a few point using the direct select arrow, the whole object changes.

Any ideas?

Well I looked but can't find anything in Illustrator 8, I know you can do it in Corel though. There is a way to do it in Illustrator but it is a round about way.

delete segments in the object separating the things you want round corners on and the ones you do not, then apply your round corners. After this you can select the points and join them back together.

This can't be the only way but is all that I have found.

Thank Tony - yeah, that is the way I've been doing it too.

Surely the programmers at Adobe could modify this aspect of the program????
