Hi - I cant figure out how to figure out how to add an additional tape drive in Backup Exec 8.6 for windows Win2k serv sp3. What I have is a DLT80 and need to add another one cause I am exceeding the tapes - I have another DLT drive that I hooked up that Windows see's but I can not get BE to see it and when I go into tapeinst.exe it errors it out and I need to reinstall the drives again, but still unable to get BE to see both of them.

I want it to be like one big drive that when one fills it just rolls to the other - any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks a lot!

You need to purchase the Library Expansion Option and I'm not sure that will work in your case. LEO is needed when you have more than one tape drive but I don't know if the drives need to be in a library (with robotic arm) or not.
