How do you add a shortcut to the start menu using a program instead of manually doing it.

Use the technique described in my article "Creating desktop icons for Visual FoxPro applications" (at

http://www.ml-consult.co.uk/foxst-18.htm),

but where the article says:

cDeskPath = oWsh.SpecialFolders("desktop")

change that to:

cDeskPath = oWsh.SpecialFolders("StartMenu")

All the other details will be the same.

Thanks Mike. I was close. I tried
cDeskPath = oWsh.SpecialFolders("Start Menu")
Should have dug a little deeper.
