I am trying to do a proof of concept to execute a Crystal Reports report program by clicking on a command button in Access. I have little experience with Access, and no knowledge of Visual Basic. From the documentation I have found, I created a Form in access with a command button. I have registered the Crystal Reports ActiveX control module, copied the control onto the form and set the custom properties for the control to execute my Crystal Reports program (REQ1.RPT). I don't see how to link up the OnClick event for the command button to initiate the ActiveX control. Do I have to write VB code as an event procedure to the OnClick event? If so, what do I code? Help is much appreciated.
