I was looking at vonage and how do I hook up more than one phone ?

can I take the signal coming off the adapter and tie it into my existing phone cable and have phones all over or do I need a adapter and ethernet connection at each location I want a phone ?

Yes, you could depending on the number of phone (ringers) that the Vonage box supports. Unfortunately, this is not answered in the FAQ section of their website, nor could I find it on the Motorola site.

you can take the analog side and plug it into as many phones as you want of of the ATA

i have 5 phone on my vonage ..i just back feed to my demarc"disconnect telco first" and its bridged to the 5 locations 2 itt mini wall phones 3 cordless works fine..i have had my services for 2 months and only had a few problems...just reboot vonage modem and all was well.

I had to deal with 6 lines being fed to the CO card on the phone system. The T-1 had a dumb router. IP traffic and voice quality suffered exponentialy as the lines got used, the router could not handle all the UDP packets being thrown at it. No one in support(s) knew what to do. Finally, a more intelligent router (layer 3) helped.

Why is there never a phone in the phone closet?
