How do published swf files play on machine with flash player installed 1

I have e-mailed an swf file to two clients and while it plays on my machine it does not play on thiers. Both their machines have the flash player installed.

However when I send the html file with it will play in thier browsers.

The exe file plays on thier machines without problem but of course the file size is quite large.

Any assistance will be most appreciated

There are two Flash players - the plug-in which runs Flash in the browser and the 'standalone' player. They probably don't have the standalone player installed. It installs from the Flash CD or you should be able to download it from Macromedia.
