HELP!

I am trying to link a full-client report to another full-client report based on the values contained within a particular cell. (ex. VP Name)

The first report shows all the VP's in columns (cross-tab report). Based on the VP name it will take you to another report and refresh it based on the VP's name. The report will show the Directors (and their sales) that report to that particular VP.

Example:
If the VP cell reads "John Smith" and you click on it, it will take you to report #628 and refresh the query and only show the Directors for John Smith.

1ST REPORT:

VP's----> JOHN SMITH | PERRY MASON
Sales Margin | Sales Margin
7/1/03 $1200 5.5% | $1400 6.2%
7/2/03 $1300 4.5% | $1500 7.7%

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

i think you can do this only using webI. In BO links do not work.
however even in BI you have to write the correct url call to show the report.

This can be done in WebI with pure ease since it allows parameters to be passed on to a WebI report. The same thing can;t be done in FC reports. Your only alternative is to have different reports for each VP Name and call that report with refresh on open. But not a elegant way to accomplish a task uhhh.

Is the syntax the same as it would be for a Web Intelligence document? Do you have a sample?
Thanks!
