I am trying to use an existing bom database, non-autocad created, to populate a table on a drawing. I previously have been exporting the database bom to excel then creating a table with links on the drawing. This approach works but I would really like to eliminate the entire "excel middle-man" process.

I have created the odbc connections on my system and can view the database from inside autocad 2013 but, I have not figured out a "simple" way to transfer that data to the drawing. Labels seem to work for 1 field at a time so that equates to approximately 1400 labels.... not the best approach :)

I think using vba would be the way to go but, I don't know where to begin. Any help and/or tips would be appreciated.
