I have a game (Real Deal from MVP) which uses listen/connect to game over TCP/IP. It does not allow entering a specific address. Is there a way to direct an application like this to a specific IP (external)? I looked at port forwarding but that doesn't seem to be what I want. The game works fine in multiplayer on a LAN. We would like to use Direct Play over the Internet.

Unless the application supports binding to an address, I don't know of any way. One possible work-around would be to use a firewall to restrict inbound connections to ONLY the desired IP address.

I'll take a look into the firewall idea. I'm also trying the route command to add an IP to the network list.[ponder]
