I have a aspect script that I have written but I need to use it on several different computers with different modems installed on them.
What I need to do is initialise these modems diferently
How can I use the ATI response to send different initialisation strings to the different modems.
I have tried using the switch command with several case statements but I get noware fast.
Any help appreciated
Thanks

I believe the ATI3 and ATI9 commands can be used to differentiate somewhat between different modems. However, you could try using the fetch modem connection command to determine the current modem in Procomm, and then use a switch statement on that result to send the correct initialization string. If you are using version 4.x of Procomm, you will need to use the commandmode on command to enable communication with the modem before sending the initialization string and then use the commandmode off command when you are done accessing the modem.
