How do I use data from an Excel sheet in my Reportsmith report?

I have some static numeric data that I need to refer to in my Reportsmith report and use it in my calculations. As this cannot be stored in ADP database, I want to use an excel sheet for this. How do I connect to Excel with in reportsmith?
