How do I use Crystal Reports with Symposium Server

Hi there,

We want to use Crystal Reports to try and get some better reports out of the Symposium Server. Although I'm of a technical level for doing this type of thing I just need a little help in starting. How do I go about creating the connection to the Symposium server. I've seen references to Sybase. Is it a Sybase database?

If you have any PC with Symposium Client installed go through Start/Programs/ SMI Workbench. Open Reference Guides/Historical Reporting../Advanced Reporting/Creating a new report in Crystal Reports. There you can find a useful step by step manual for starting with CR.
