The Subject basically says it all, I am using CSS to make a Background image non tileing.

I would also like to use an area map to make certain parts of this image into hyper links.

I have never done this before, does anyone know how??

Thanks.

You best bet is to have a 1x1 pixel transparent GIF image the same size as your background CSS, and use this to attach the image map to.

Either that, or dispense with the background image altogether, and put the background image as the foreground image (if you're using the previous solution, you may as well do this ;o)

Hope this helps,
Dan

Thanks B.

I did find another way to do it, ( the image map in CSS).
But your solution is better.

I will use the transparent GIF idea because there will be constantly changing text over the background image.

Thanks for the help.
