how do i update variables in the same frame? 1

i have some MC's that generate variable's, they're all on the same frame of the main time line. I have a frame script that looks for the varibles and is suppose to do something when they are all correct (the variables). But it (flash) does'nt seem to update the frame. Unlike the go to the frame in director. Any help?

have you tried creating a blank movie-clip, dragging it onto the main stage, right-clicking it to select 'actions', and then pasting your 'checking' script onto the mc 'on Enterframe'.

Make sure that the mc is located on a layer which covers the area of the timeline in which the variables are being created.

It sounds like you possibly have the actions outwith the current frame of the timeline at the time when checking is required. Or the checking script isn't being activated on a loop basis.
