Hi, I am running a Windows 95 box. I am trying to install a program.

I checked memory, and there is plenty after install.
I did, however see the application still on the machine from a previous install.

Please do not recommend the following:

My Computer Contol Panel Add/Remove programs been there done that.
Please don't also say go to Registry HKey_local_machine and remove it there, didn't work either.

Any suggestions at all, please write back, I am tempted to reinstall with Windows 98.
Melba
If you have tried those two avenues, where exactly do you "see the application still on the machine from a previous install"? Also, what application is it?
Clive
clive@digitalsky.co.za

I assemble and sell these things.

When you say "see" do you mean that a directory is still there with the applications name and a few files within it? If that is the case that is just left over junk that the unistall programm thought was still good or could not remove

fenris
fenris@hotmail.com

Yeah, It still displays a few files and directories left over in the Add/Remove programs. The program is YPPI -Yellow Pages Publishers.
