How do I type a vertical bar symbol for a menu ?

Hi there,
I am trying to add a menu to the top of my movie.
In the field editor (Window>Field)
For example
Window: File
Main Menu | go to frame "Main"

&quot;|&quot; <this is what I need to type, but for now all I can do is cut and paste it. Is there a keyboard key for this vertical bar symbol?

Any bright insight would be greatly appreciated.

yeah, on a pc its the one that either looks like | (mine is above the enter key, hold down shift). or it looks like two vertical bars on your keyboard above each other. on the mac I don't know
