How do I turn Abbreviated Ring off

I have an Avaya Merlin Magix system.

It seems like such a simple thing but searching through this forum, google and docs at hand I cannot figure out how to turn off the Abbreviated ring feature on an extension.

The exact steps would be appreciated.

Well it would help to know just what you are working on, but basically it's Menu > Program > Touch a button > List Feature > hit more a few times until you see "RING OPTIONS" and then select Abbreviated Ring.

At that point, you may do with it as you please.

That's exactly what I needed. Thank you.

I have a reception position that used to be covered by anouther extension but we have done away with the second extension and wanted the reception phone to keep ringing to make sure the second call gets answered.

Sometimes I turn it off when I have complaints of; "Phone Not Ringing".

Pretty much works every time.
