i have changed my hard drive recently so i copied my web and burned it to a cd first. now i'm having trouble reloading it into front page on the new hard drive. it says i can't write to it though it does open the page. i have copied a version to my hard drive off the cd but it still won't write to it. can anyone offer some assistance?

Copying from a CD copies the file attributes also. Since a burned CD is by default read-only, the attribute got copied to your new web. You'll need to go in and turn off the read-only attribute on all your web pages. This can be done easiest in DOS by using ATTRIB *.* -R /S from the root directory. The /S switch applies the command to all files in all subdirectories.

If your web site is posted online, just create a subweb folder on the new hard drive. Then open the online web site and click the publish button. It'll ask you where you want to publish it, so choose the folder on your computer.
