How do I temporarily remove or disable the flash player?

I can't beleive I am posting this but I see no obvious way to do this. I checked Control Panel/Add remove programs (on XP) and the Flash Player is not listed there.

I want to test how my sight will behave for users who browse it without the flash player installed.

using xp too.
