How do I tell what the IP address behind a proxy is?

You can't or actually you shouldn't have the privileges to do that. That's why they call it a proxy so that addresses stay hidden from the public and inside the firewall.
If you can do that, then there's a big security breach somewhere.

what i want is to design a web page, which redirects LAN users who tries to access forbidden web page to another page, and report users' information to webmaster, but they are sitting behind proxy server,so how can i get their information?
any suggestions?thanx
