How can I sum a formula that is NOT in the details line, but in a group footer instead?

I would like to sum the formula that is in group footer 3 in group footer 2.

Thanks in advance,
TJ

If you only want to include one value from each G3, then you need a running total, which is automatic in V7 and V8. Set the evaluate to Group3 and the reset to Group2.

If this field is a some type of summary or total then you can't use the automatic technique, and will need to create a formula running total using the 3-formula technique described in the FAQ on running totals. Ken Hamady, On-site/Phone Crystal Reports Training/Consulting
