If I hold down a key and and fill a line with the same letter example:

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

When writer starts the next line it puts a large gap at the end and looks like this:

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I think OOo considers it a long word and tries to seperate the words at the end of the line.

I type in another language that doesn't uses spaces between words and this happens everytime I start a new line of text.

How do I fix this problem?

The problem you speak of doesn't happen to me. I tryed typing words (without spaces, or puncuation). Still no luck. I am using OOo v 1.1.1 that might be something that was fixed or changed to default in this version.

However the issue may be fixeable, try Tools >> Options... or Format >> Page... or Format >> Character...

And if it isn't a problem (due to internet time or bandwidth) you could always tyr the most recient version. It's always better that way anyway.

Sorry I couldn't be any more help
