how do i start two shell from one script ?

Hi
I am planning to have two process running and they are independed of each other from one script. One script runs and update file and other script runs in parallel and checks output from first process.
Can this be done ?

We need more information... What are you updating and how does the update process complete? Do you get a success/error log? What output needs to be checked from the first process and what are your ideas for a success/failure check?
