Okay. I want to know how you share files between a Laptop, Windows2000, and a LAptop, Windows Xp Pro.

I have Network Magic and works pretty good.

But, How do I log on my computer with an User Account that is on a Networked Computer??

I cannot figure it out. Usually I can, because i'm an expert Of Computers, but can't crack this.

Everything they say, Go there and click share, rename it, set permissions, It doesnt work.

It does not go on my computer.

What do I type when I want to logon a user account on a networked computer?

Any free programs?
And Pay programs?

Anything.

Thank you

So your objective is to transfer files between a W2K laptop and a WXP laptop?
If so, and your laptops are NOT part of the same domain (as an expert of Computers, I would expect you to know what a domain is), then you will need identical accounts with identical passwords on both laptops in order to transfer files.

It should be simple, do you have a DC or peer to peer network? You don't need any software to do this, just your network expertise. It doesn't matter if you have a domain or you are on peer to peer network, sharing files on the network is so simple.

Here are some helpful links:

I hope that these are helpful.
