I've got a Windows Server 2003 with Apache running our website (along with PHP 5 and MySQL). We have a regular site that is available to the public, let's call it and we've got SSL setup already. So you can go to the regular site or the secure site,
I want to setup CAC-enabled (a card the user has that requires a PIN) login to the secure part of the website, the administrator interface. The URL should be When I get a cert request using OpenSSL, do I have to put the "common" name as " Will this work- using the '/admin' after the regular URL? Will the request then only make secure, but not don't want to accidentally make the whole site CAC-required.

Also, once I get the cert from the third-party, do I just have to put it in a directory or is there anything else I have to do with it? Thanks.
