I need to know how to setup a subtraction forumula without having to put in "A1-A2-A3-..." For example if i have A1:A50 and i want to subtract all of those numbers to give a final value.

Pssssssssst ..."DSpence" ...I noticed from your profile that you haven't yet discovered the PROPER means of showing appreciation ...simply click on the "Let ____ know this post was helpful" - located in the lower-left-corner of the contributor's posting.

This results in the issuance of those "STARS" you probably have noticed. The STARS not only serve to show appreciation, but ALSO serve as "beacons" to alert other Tek-Tip users that the posting contains a suitable solution.

Once solutions are posted, Tek-Tips "browsers" will "zero-in" on these STAR-postings to learn how the problem was resolved. Often these problems/solutions are similar to problems being encountered by these other Tek-Tips users.

Little Red Hat deserves recognition, so ..... here comes a STAR.

BUT, PLEASE, do NOT issue me a STAR for this "reminder" (NOT a Tip) to newcomers. ( I want to EARN stars the normal way. )
