How do i set up new user?

Have a new user that needs setting up with lotus Notes but dont know how to go about setting them up.
Do i have to copy them to another id?

If you are a notes administrator and you dont know how to create user ids no offence but I suggest you read a book or go on a training course.

You do need to get some books and read, for your own good, not ment to offend. There are a number of ways to do this. Here is the most basic I can think of.

This will only work if your the Administrator

1) Open Domino Administrator.
2) Make sure that you are pointed to the right server.
3) On the People & Groups tab look to the right of the screen.
4) Click on the "Tools" button so that "People" and "Groups" appear below the "Tools" button.
5) Click on "People" so that more choices drop down.
6) Click on Register.
7) Type in the cert password.
8) Fill out the information for the New Entry. (If you don't really understand everything here, I suggest not doing anything at all and just exiting the application. If you do not have a Lotus Admin I can suggest some to you, just e-mail me.)
9) After filling out the info, click on Register all.
10) Now you will need to setup the person on the client machine... If you do not know how to do this, then you really need to get someone who can help you out onsite.
