I wish to set up a new trunk route using analouge extensions the Celular Trunk Interface cards require an A.extension to interface to the MD. What I mainly want is o/g calls from the MD to go over these units. so say someone dials 026........ the call would go out to the CTI interface card. I have BC12 sp6 or 8 I think. Would it work B/Ws?
many thanks Hitechbuzz

Cheers Brian

Just a suggestion,

Try to use BRI or PRI interface instead of analogue.
I replaced the analogue ones with BRI because of Echo issues, CIL issues.

Hi RFPUP,

Can you put in the details of BRI interface you are using to connect with PLMN ...
Appreciate if you could include details about the supplier, pricing & route parameters on MD..

I used Nokia 32 & planning to use same one again... I had issues with hanging lines on these FCT's..

Thanks,

I use 2N BRI Lite version.

Regarding the prices it depends on the quantity but for 20 pieces you may have a price 500 - 600 Euro, perhaps lower

Regarding blocking channels:

1. Perhaps you may see a parameter of relax time for the gateway (time between two calls one after each other) in order to avoid the blocking channels.

2. try to change the Tx+ & Tx- and also Rx+ & Rx- . I have found that this can help a lot.

Thanks RFPUP,

Pls advice the manufacturer of this BRI interface .. Any details about the vendor..Any web site..

but you may try different manufacturers for example And the best one is google.com search for BRI GSM adapter :)

Its a good idea to try equipment from different providers but keep in mind the topology of connection:
PSTN as NT- MD110 as TE & MD110 as NT - BRI adapter as TE. This type of connection is really stable, others not

Hi Guys thanks for the info the reason I was going to use analogue was that I have plenty of spare A/Extensions. But if it's going to dig a hole for me well thats not a good idea. thanks

Hitechbuzz,

Interface on MD110 will be a TLU 75, 2W interface ..Nothing to do with Analogue extensions...

FCT will give a FXS interface which will be terminated as a trunk on TLU 75..

Hope it clarifies...

Thanks RFPUP for the details of various vendors..

Cheers,
